About UOW Riyadh

Welcome to UOW Riyadh

The University of Wollongong (UOW) is progressing plans to establish a new international campus in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: the first Australian university in the Kingdom.

UOW was the first foreign university to be granted a Saudi Investment License under Vision 2030, a milestone that reflects our global reputation and long-term commitment to the region.

UOW Riyadh will bring world-class education to local students and professionals, offering globally recognised degrees, a future-ready approach to learning, and strong links to industry and community, all within the Kingdom.

A global leader in education

At UOW, we are driven by our commitment to excellence in education, research, and partnership. For decades, we have delivered globally relevant learning that empowers individuals and transforms societies.

We anticipate the future and respond to the rapid pace of change, shaping a more equitable and sustainable world through knowledge, innovation, and collaboration.

Ranked among the world’s top 1% of universities, UOW is consistently recognised for the quality of its graduates, the strength of its teaching, and the real-world impact of its research.

Our global presence

UOW is more than a university, it’s a global network of campuses, partners, students, and alumni. From Australia to the United Arab Emirates, from Malaysia to India, we create opportunities that cross borders and connect people to the future.

UOW Riyadh will join this global family through UOW Global Enterprises (UOWGE), which owns and operates the University of Wollongong in Dubai, UOW College Australia, UOW Malaysia, UOW College Hong Kong, and UOW India.

This international footprint offers students in Saudi Arabia access to global standards, international pathways, and a truly borderless learning experience.
